As a SAR Expert you will conduct theoretical performance analysis as well as the modeling and specification of new system concepts and, in addition to the SAR system design and performance evaluation, you will also be involved in the development of algorithms for new imaging radar applications.

As part of the team, you are exposed to the latest developments in which concerns to Radar technology, developing a complete system concepts and architecture to integrated microwave circuits and antennas, and researching new techniques and passengers, such as compressive sensing, deep learning, and quantum radar technology.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer Quantum to join the team in Delft.

As a Software Engineer working for the Quantum department, you will be responsible for assisting the Software Architect when setting up and developing the web-based architectures, implementing, including performing unit and integration tests, upper stack web-based software programming environments, and assisting the team in keeping and improving their Agile/Scrum development strategy.

Requirements:
• HBO is the fields of Physics, Mathematics, or similar
• 3+ years of experience working with modern web-based application architectures
• Extensive experience in Python-based Software Development, especially for web-based applications such as FastAPI, PostgreSQL, or PyZMQ
• Experience with CI/CD using GitLab and GitHub

As a Digital Forensic Researcher, you will be responsible for developing and applying methods to analyze (reverse engineer) integrated circuits, repair them and modify them at the transistor level so that they can either be read once again, or divulge their secure information. You integrate a multidisciplinary team composed by colleagues with expertise in reverse engineering, engineering, cryptography, data analysis, silicon analysis and silicon editing. At the beginning, you will prepare the samples for them and assisting when the team is conducting their research, facilitating their discoveries.
To execute your tasks, you have access to a state-of-the-art failure-analysis laboratory (X-ray, RIE, Micro-Mill, Dual-Beam), having an influence when it comes to its maintenance and innovation. When working on the laboratory, your focus is to extract and interpret information from embedded systems with hardware-assisted cryptography.

We are currently looking for a Lead Control Engineer to join the team in Delft.
As a Lead Control Engineer, you are skillful in supervising the required mechatronics and control related aspects within the project, making realistic schedules and cost estimations, attributing the right responsibilities to the right people. With your background and expertise, you are able to pick also tasks if needed, especially when related with control and mechatronics. As the Lead, your focus will be in monitoring the team’s progress and making available the necessary tools and resources. Besides, you manage to translate the results into practical solutions.
Being familiar with the Control Engineering terminology and knowing the basics of linear control theory and controller synthesis, both in the classical and mathematical sense, is important. You are aware of the significance of Feedback Control and Frequency-Domain Analysis, both when it comes to design and experimental phases, and have the capacity to interpret Bode diagrams, Nyquist plots, and Spectral Density plots, relating these to the mechanical properties of the system or disturbance sources.
You know how the relevance of Dynamic Modelling, both Lumped-Mass and Finite-Element, when designing complex mechatronic system from scratch, being capable of communicating with the experts in the field when needed.
Finally, you understand the importance of data in the System Identification, Controller Design, and Performance Evaluation, within the challenging experimental project phases.
Requirements
• Master’s Degree, and preferably a Ph.D Degree, in the field of Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Control
• 5+ years of experience in the field whether in industry
• Concise knowledge of the concepts of Control Design and Engineering, and you are familiar with the possibilities and challenges of High-Performance Control in Mechatronics Systems
• Experience with Mechatronic System Design and with dynamic behavior of Mechanical Systems and their motion control in particular
• Experience monitoring progress within teams and projects, assuring the desired performance and outcome
• Solution-maker attitude and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with your colleagues, such as Control Engineers, Systems Engineer, and other project members, and also with the third parties which will be composed of Partners, Subcontractors, suppliers, and customers, especially when developing specifications for required hardware and defining acceptance tests
