As a Superconducting Expert, you will be working in the characterization and development of superconducting devices, bridging the gap between fundamental research and real-life applications.

Superconducting Expert

Main responsibilities 


  • You will design the cryogenic and room-temperature measurement setups.
  • You will develop software for automatic testing of both, single and multi-qubit superconducting devices.
  • You will be able to participate in the development of quantum parametric amplifiers, spin qubits, entanglement distribution systems or quantum sensors.
  • You will collaborate with internal and external experts to improve reliability and performance of the measurement setups.
  • You will be in contact with external stakeholders, both nationally and internationally.

 


Requirements


  • You have a Master's Degree or PhD in Physics, Mathematics or Engineering. Specialization in quantum computing research is an advantage.
  • You have more than 5 years of experience in setting up and performing experiments with cryogenic solid state measurements, any quantum computing platform, including at least 1 year with superconducting qubits.
  • You are experienced with OOP programming tools to represent the experimental setup.
  • You are responsible, accurate and organised.
  • You have a proactive and social mindset.
