Test Automation Engineer 

Main responsibilities 

  • Collaborating with colleagues to test various functionalities of the robotic systems using methods such as risk-based testing, integration testing, and detailed testing
  • Writing test scenarios in Cucumber/Gherkin format and automating them for efficient testing
  • Building and maintaining the test automation pipeline and infrastructure
  • Analysing test results data and gathering feedback for engineers
  • Providing substantiated advice to the team based on test results
  • Contributing to the development of new features for the products and associated software applications


Requirements

  • An HBO/WO level of thinking
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a developer or test engineer in embedded software
  • Experience with agile methodologies and working in scrum teams
  • Familiarity with behaviour-driven testing and test automation tools like Behave and Gherkin
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++, with a preference for Python
  • Experience with Bash, Linux, GIT, and CI/CD pipelines
  • TMAP/ISTQB certification is a plus
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch, both verbally and in writing
