About this job
We are currently looking for a Software Architect to join the team in Delft, within our Defence & Security team.
Here, we develop innovative solutions that make use of advanced space technologies, with a strong focus on the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) domain.
In this role, you’ll contribute to software and hardware solutions used in real-world applications such as marine surveillance (e.g. detecting dark vessels) and military mission planning (e.g. assessing terrain trafficability). Our work supports critical domains including Defence, Space, and Critical Infrastructure.
You’ll be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of ground systems for one of our key clients. Working closely with system engineers and other stakeholders, you’ll help translate requirements into robust and operational software solutions, while guiding and supporting fellow software engineers along the way.

- Design, create, and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, decision records, and system documentation.
- Support and mentor software engineers by sharing architectural insights, design patterns, and best practices, helping to strengthen technical capability across the team.
