Senior Process Engineer

Main responsibilities 

You will collaborate closely with international industrial partners and internal experts, taking technical ownership of complex R&D projects. Your work will directly contribute to bringing cutting-edge printed electronics and photonics technologies from concept to application.  

  • Develop, optimize, and scale printing, interconnect, and assembly processes for advanced printed electronics and photonics devices.
  • Enable hybrid integration of printed functionalities with conventional components such as chips and LEDs, while preserving thinness, flexibility, and stretchability.
  • Apply your expertise in materials, processes, and device design to solve complex integration and manufacturing challenges.
  • Take technical responsibility in collaborative R&D projects with international industrial partners.
  • Work closely with customers and partners on a day-to-day basis, aligning technical progress with project goals and timelines.
  • Analyze experimental data, draw clear conclusions, and communicate results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to knowledge development, best practices, and technology roadmaps within the printed electronics domain.
  • Act as a senior technical reference and sparring partner, supporting and mentoring colleagues within the team. 


Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in microelectronics or a closely related field.
  • Experience with printed electronics is a strong advantage.
  • A hands-on mindset, with the ability to organize and execute practical work in an efficient and collaborative manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong skills in data handling, analysis, and interpretation, with the ability to clearly communicate results.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
