For one of our clients within the Defence & high-tech radar domain, we are looking for an RF Measurement & IC Design Engineer to work on next-generation radar technologies.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced MMICs (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits) that are directly integrated into high-performance radar systems. Your work will combine design, simulation, and testing, with a strong focus on real-world application and system performance.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where expertise in RF, antennas, IC design, and signal processing comes together to create innovative and impactful solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work on technology that is both cutting-edge and societally relevant.

RF Measurement & IC Design Engineer
Main responsibilities
- Design and develop RF/MMIC components for advanced radar systems
- Perform circuit and electromagnetic (EM) simulations using tools such as Cadence and ADS
- Optimise layouts and validate designs based on system-level requirements
- Work with (Bi)CMOS and III-V semiconductor technologies
- Contribute to measurement, testing, and validation in a high-end lab environment
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including antenna and system engineers
- Translate application requirements into practical and high-performance IC designs

Support continuous improvement and innovation in radar technologies
Requirements
Experience & expertise
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Strong background in RF / Microwave engineering, IC design, or analog electronics
- Experience with design and simulation tools such as Cadence or ADS
- Affinity with or experience in MMIC design and semiconductor technologies
- Experience with full IC design cycles or tape-outs is a plus

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Curious and motivated to work on complex technical challenges
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment
- Detail-oriented with a structured way of working
- Open to feedback and continuous learning
- Language & location
- Good command of Dutch and English (Dutch is required for this role)
- Willing to work on-site in the Den Haag area (min. 3 days/week)
- Comfortable working within the Defence domain (security requirements apply)
