About this job

We are currently looking for a Master Research Intern to join the team in Delft to research about Soil Deposition Site Selection to start in 2026.

We are looking for enthusiastic master's students that will help us make a difference within our Environment & Sustainability team. We are flexible with the start of the internship. Please specify which is your preference on your motivation letter.

Are you ready to make an impact within S[&]T? We’re thrilled to help talented students reach their maximum potential. If you’d like to contribute to a safer life on Earth through your internship, we’ll be happy to guide you along the way to develop a methodology to find suitable locations for soil that is displaced during construction or landscaping.

Often healthy soil becomes available during this activity, and a place needs to be found where to move this soil. What location makes the most positive impact? How far is it from the retrieval site? Your assignment is to create maps that support this decision making, for example identifying issues with water dispersion on agricultural lands.
