For one of our clients in the advanced energy storage and aerospace technology domain, we are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to help develop next-generation high-performance battery systems.

In this role, you will work on the electronics at the core of advanced battery solutions used in demanding environments, where reliability, efficiency, and performance are critical. From battery management systems (BMS) and PCB design to validation and system integration, you will play a key role in bringing innovative energy systems from concept to production.

You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical engineering, software, and manufacturing, contributing to products that combine cutting-edge battery technology with real-world applications.

Job details

​          Electronics Engineer  

Main responsibilities 


  • Define and translate system-level requirements into clear and testable electronics specifications
  • Design and develop BMS circuits, PCBs, and electrical schematics using Altium Designer
  • Develop solutions focused on power distribution, signal integrity, and thermal performance
  • Prototype, test, and debug electronics using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and power analysers
  • Validate systems under demanding operating conditions, including thermal and vibration testing
  • Optimise battery electronics for energy efficiency, cell balancing, and performance
  • Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and production teams during system integration
  • Support compliance and certification activities (CE, IEC, UN38.3)
  • Document designs, test results, and engineering decisions for production and future development

 

Requirements


Experience & expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB design and electronics development within a production or R&D environment
  • Strong experience with Altium Designer (schematics, PCB layout, BOM management)
  • Hands-on experience with electronics debugging and validation
  • Experience with power electronics and/or Battery Management Systems (BMS)
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as CE, IEC, and UN38.3

Nice to have

  • Experience with embedded systems
  • EMC testing knowledge
  • Background in battery systems, aerospace, UAV/drone technology, or other high-reliability applications

  • Hands-on, practical, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable working in multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Able to combine technical depth with a structured way of working
