Systems Engineer for Laser Satellite Communication 

Main Responsibilities 


As a Systems Engineer you will be the technical lead for several projects and you will be involved on proposals up to development and finally delivering the product!


We are also looking for someone who can  act as the systems architect, managing the requirements, guiding teams of technical specialists, delivering technical designs and system performance calculations and you will interface with customers, partners and suppliers.


Requirements


  • A strong educational background in communication technology, control, electronics, software, optics and / or photonics
  • You have at least 7 years of experience in the space industry
  • You have strong communication and negotiation skills and great commercial awareness
  • You are result-driven, pragmatic and proactive
  • You are organized and capable of managing scope, costs, risks and people
  • You are a strategic thinker and capable of navigating through challenging political environments
  • You are at least for 60% of your time located on-site with 40% from home.
  • You are fluent in English, both ​spoken and written
