Main responsibilities 

  • Design and implement embedded software solutions using C++ and C# for high-reliability systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture and integration.
  • Apply DevOps practices to automate and streamline development pipelines.
  • Analyze and translate system-level requirements into efficient code.
  • Lead or mentor team members when required, supporting project success and knowledge sharing.
  • Work on projects aligned with defense, aerospace, or semiconductor industries.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and security standards throughout the development lifecycle.


Requirements 

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong exposure to embedded systems.
  • Proficient in C++, C#, and hands-on knowledge of DevOps tools (CI/CD, version control, automation).
  • Proven experience with microcontroller programming and real-time operating systems.
  • At least 4 years working in defense or space industries, or 6 years in high-tech/semiconductor environments.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
