We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team in Delft.
As a Senior Software Engineer, your job will focus on developing and maintaining advanced embedded software solutions for mission-critical applications in the defense, space, or high-tech sectors.

Main responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software solutions using C++ and C# for high-reliability systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture and integration.
- Apply DevOps practices to automate and streamline development pipelines.
- Analyze and translate system-level requirements into efficient code.
- Lead or mentor team members when required, supporting project success and knowledge sharing.
- Work on projects aligned with defense, aerospace, or semiconductor industries.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and security standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong exposure to embedded systems.
- Proficient in C++, C#, and hands-on knowledge of DevOps tools (CI/CD, version control, automation).
- Proven experience with microcontroller programming and real-time operating systems.
- At least 4 years working in defense or space industries, or 6 years in high-tech/semiconductor environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
