We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager in Delft to manage a scientific satellite mission implementation in the field of emission monitoring.


The project itself relates with Environment & Sustainability, which the goal is to utilize satellite technology to measure emissions in our atmosphere. This is one of a kind project in which you are invited to bring your expertise to bring it to life. The project scope is 3 to 4 years and a budget of 20-50M€.

Senior Project Manager 

Main responsibilities 


As a Senior Project Manager, you will have the chance to work in an impactful satellite-related project working alongside with renowned companies and institutes in the field. You will be responsible to ensure that the project will run smoothly throughout the strictly imposed deadlines, managing a team of sub-project managers working at the partners. 


Requirements


  • 6+ years of experience working as a Project Manager
  • Experience with flight hardware projects in the space sector is required, experience with ESA and ECSS standards is a plus
  • Experience with Space-related projects. Expertise in Satellite projects is definitely a plus
  • Experience with stakeholder management and team management
  • Capacity to effectively manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
  • Excellent communication skills and capacity to negotiate and translate requirements 
  • Flexible to work and adapt in a new-space environment
  • Availability to be at the Delft office 3 days per week 
  • Fluency, both written and spoken, in English and preferably in Dutch
