Senior Electronic Engineer 

Main responsibilities 

As the project lead engineer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the project towards success, from product preparations to execution. In this role, you will demonstrate your expertise in the design process of Electronic Circuit Boards (PCBA), translating architectural concepts into electronic diagrams, as well as validating and releasing finalized designs through rigorous simulations and testing procedures.


Requirements

  • HBO diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, or you have mastered the PCBA design process, in particular, PCBAs with high-speed signals and interfaces
  • Experience with supervising layout work
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting Signal Integrity simulation and implementing solutions to achieve desired outcomes
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
  • Proven experience with Cadence design tools and version control tooling (GIT)
  • Knowledge in facilitating external connections (Connector transitions & S-parameter assemblies)
  • Experience in developing military applications and familiarity with military standards such as MIL-STD-810G & MIL-STD-46
  • Knowledge and experience in intercom systems and/or complex network solutions, 
  • Understanding of Platform Standards, including COMe Type 6/7 & SMARC 2.0
  • Familiarity with various interface types and associated standards, such as 10Gb Ethernet, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 2.0/3.0, PCIe, M.2, and Ethernet including Power over Ethernet (PoE)
  • Knowledge of thermal design principles and experience in optimizing thermal management for processor platforms
  • Fluency, both written and spoken, in English. Fluency in Dutch is a plus
