​As a Scientific Programmer, you will be joining the Artificial intelligence & Data team and take part on a software development process optimization project, in which your expertise in LLMs (Language Model-based Machine Learning) and Generative AI will be crucial. As the expert, you will support your colleagues in defining and implementing proof of concepts and demonstrators, granting the enhancement of the overall code quality.

Requirements:

• HBO in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or similar field

• 3+ years of experience as a Scientific Programmer or similar 

• Extensive experience with C++. You should be capable of reading, understanding, and modifying complex C++ code, as well as implementing code transformations

• Expertise in LLMs and Generative AI techniques, with hands-on experience in using and fine-tuning models

• Experience with code analysis and restructuring 

• Comprehension of Software Engineering principles, such as design patterns, modularity, and maintainability

• Knowledge of Version Control Systems, especially Git, being experienced working with distributed teams, managing code repositories, and resolving conflicts efficiently 

• Strong solution-making mindset and analytical skills

• Capacity to adapt and proactiveness to learn and improve consistently 

• Outstanding communication skills and aptitude to work in a team setting 

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
