We are currently looking for a Program Manager Next Generation Battery Technology to join the team in Eindhoven.

​As a Program Manager Next Generation Battery Technology, you will encounter a variety of tasks on your day-to-day. As a crucial member at the Thin-Film Electronics team, you are responsible for the development of program and project portfolios, leading multidisciplinary teams, program management, business development support, technical project leadership, as well as planning and implementing new infrastructures for R&D. These projects are related to the Next Generation Battery Technology, and their finality relate with the development of display and electronics application, with influence in domains such as the Energy Storage one.

Program Manager Next Generation Battery Technology

Main responsibilities 


  • Lead technical and complex projects
  • Ensure market tractions for the R&D programs, transforming them into concrete business
  • Establish and support the technical and market roadmaps for the Next Generation Battery Technology program, translating research topics into experimental plans and assuring their execution
  • Report the findings and report them to notorious international journals and conferences, assuring their publication and exposure globally
  • Supervise and support multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders


Requirements


  • PhD in Electrochemistry, Battery Technology, Materials Science, or a similar field
  • 5+ years of experience working with Battery Technology, specifically with Thin Film and their application in batteries (These years of experience do not include the Ph.D., they should’ve been acquired afterwards)
  • Experience with R&D projects
  • Expertise in expanding new and innovative applications, covering programmatic and operational topics
  • Capacity to structure and manage people and activities within the project portfolio, interacting with diverse team members and external stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial and hands-on mentality, acting as the problem-solver, taking responsibility, and the organization of several simultaneous projects
  • Fluency, both written and spoken, in English
