We are currently looking for a Product Assurance Engineer  in Delft  to manage a scientific satellite mission implementation in the field of emission monitoring.

The project itself relates to Environment and Sustainability, in which the goal is to utilize satellite technology to measure emissions in our atmosphere. This is a one-of-a-kind project in which you are invited to bring your expertise to bring it to life. The project scope is 3 to 4 years and has a budget of 20-50M€.

Product Assurance Engineer

Main responsibilities 


As a Product Assurance Engineer, you will have the chance to work on an impactful satellite-related project working alongside renowned companies and institutes in the field. You will ensure the project's resilience by overseeing that all consortium partners adhere to specified processes and requirements. This encompasses verifying that the materials, mechanical components, processes, and electrical elements used in assembling both the spacecraft and experiments meet the necessary standards, ensuring suitability for the entire mission's lifespan.





Requirements


· Possess a BSc and/or MSc degree in Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent field

· 5 years of experience in product assurance, specifically for complex technical systems

· Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, punctuality, analytical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills

· Embrace an energetic team-player mentality with a positive and open mindset

· Apply a solution-driven work ethic to tasks and challenges

· Showcase solid organizational skills, including meticulous attention to detail and adept multitasking abilities

· Prior experience in space product assurance engineering, particularly in small satellite projects and/or ESA scientific missions is a plus

· Exhibit excellent and clear communication abilities in English, and preferably also in Dutch
