About this job
We are currently looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to join the team in Rotterdam.
As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will work at the core modules of technology, helping to industrialize our tech, designs, scripts, procedures, organization, and coming up with smart solutions to issues while developing the newer generations of machines and added features. You will be working on cutting-edge metrology technology, centered around dynamics and accuracy.

Mechatronics Engineer
Main responsibilities
- You will participate in the (re)design of our technology.
- You will optimize it.
- You will work on its architecture.
- You will troubleshoot.
- You will ensure that the modules can be made/integrated/assessed without your presence using tools and scripts.
- For each, our considerations are centered around dynamics and accuracy.
- You will travel about 5% of your time.
Requirements
- MSc in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control Engineering, or equivalent; BSc in Electrical or Embedded Engineering is a pre.
- You have a deep understanding of mechanical design principles and model-based design.
- You have a broad range of technical skills, as a focal point between Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Software, Metrology, and Physics.
- You have experience with dynamics, signal analysis, and control tuning.
- You know the sensing/actuation principles.
- You have coding skills (Python, MATLAB/Simulink are a plus).
- Previous experience with semiconductor equipment is a plus.
