Junior/Medior/Senior Java Software Developers
At S[&]T we are currently looking for a Junior/Medior/Senior Java Software Developers to join a GeoData project in the field of Energy Transition in Utrecht.
As a part of the GeoData team, you are one of the responsible people for making a wide range of subsurface data digitally accessible, which will have a considerable strategical impact on policymaking, and create solutions to identified issues in our society, allowing our government and authorities to invest in a more sustainable future.
Your Role
Working as a Junior/Medior/Senior Java Software Developer, you will be part of the DevOps team, contributing to the tasks related to field data and registration of the subsurface. Your tasks are quite vast and will include both the improvement of existing functionalities and the development of new applications, both on the front-end and back-end, and from information systems to permit applications. These applications intend to be used by researchers, governments, and other commercial parties with a focus on geodata.
In this multidisciplinary team, your colleagues are testers, developers, scrum masters, and product owners, which means that you have the privilege to share ideas and obtain information from different points of view.
Your Profile
Requirements:
Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar
Experience with Java/JEE
Experience with Automated Testing (JUnit, Mockito), Tooling (Maven, Git), and Software De-velopment (Tekton, Jenkins, Sonar, GitHub)
Expertise in making mock-ups and demos
Understanding of XML/XSD, JSON, and knowledge of web frameworks such as Angu-lar/ArcGIS Javascript
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, JPA, REST, Jackson or Microprofile
Passion for geodata and geo-ICT
Fluency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
