We are currently looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join the team in Delft.

Junior Data Engineer
Main responsibilities
As a Junior Data Engineer, you will take part of an innovative aviation-related project. S[&]T is currently partnering with companies in the fields of aviation and R&D, being responsible for the data treatment and storage of data collected from acoustic sensors. The acoustic sensors will point potential defects/malfunctions on the aircrafts, and this information will be shared with the maintenance team at our partner, allowing them to operate better maintenance and reparations on the aircrafts flying thousands of passengers worldwide, increasing the flight security.
Requirements
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or similar field
• Experience in a similar positions/internships is a plus
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Strong familiarity with database systems and web services
• Practice programming in Python
• Experience/knowledge of Computer Vision
• Comfortable working with flexible requirements
• Self-motivated and Independent initiative
• Good presentation skills, since you have to keep on updating the team and wider partners on the work being undertaken
• Clear and concise communication skills, can produce informative reports
• Fluency, both written and spoken, in English
