As an IT Consultant, you are responsible for demonstrate the feasibility and value of innovative applications of information technology for Businesses and the Government. Your challenges will consist mostly of automatic acquisition, storage, access, and analysis of large amounts of data, building predictive analytics and prepare large-scale simulation, and manage the interaction of people with data and with complex data processing systems. You will work on several projects at the same time, developing new architectures and concepts together with colleagues in interaction with the stakeholders.  You are the solution-maker and integrate the ideas of your colleagues and partners into solutions. 

Your focus will be on Defense projects, acting as the link between the innovation challenges of the stakeholders and the ideas and solutions from the researchers. Think of the development of technical IT building blocks and IT architectures that properly align information processing with business processes, renewing and improving working methods and operational management. You are the link between Business Operations, Military Operations, and Information Technology.

 • Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Technical Business Administration, Business Information Technology, or similar field

• Experience working with Enterprise Architecture Approach, translating information needs into information systems design

• Experience working at a Defense organization, with specific knowledge of operational process and the ICT systems (C4I), or curiosity to explore it

• Knowledge of TOGAF and/or NAF

• Ability to structure and analyze problems from different perspectives

• Capacity to translate the stakeholder problems into a well-fitting solution to their needs, managing their expectations

• Fluency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken (Mandatory)
