Your Role

Our client, one of the most innovative in the Research field in the Netherlands, is looking for a Flow and Thermodynamics Scientist to join their Nano Instrumentation department, working directly with the Thermal Fluid Engineering team in Eindhoven. 

As a Flow and Thermodynamics Scientist, you will take part in projects developing new a new technology or concept to tackle problem analyses on the prevailing setups and machines. You are a key participant in large projects concerning High Tech Equipment, more specifically, designing for Immersion Lithography, Flexible Electronics, High-Performance Thermal Management (Micro Cooling), and Food Equipment. The most common focuses are fluid-structure integration, phase transition, two-phase flow, and micro-fluids.

Your Profile

  •  Higher Education (MSc. or Ph.D.) in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.
    A specialization in Flow and/or Thermodynamics is a plus

  • 3+ years of working experience in the field 

  • Consolidated experience with MATLAB

  • Experience with Fluent, OpenFoam, Ansys, or Comsol is required

  • Adaptable and pragmatic personality

  • Analytical power

  • Experimental skills and experience
