We are currently looking for an Electronic Design Engineer to join the team in Eindhoven.
You will be part of the Electrical Development team within the Hybrid Printed Electronics department and design, create and verify exciting new prototypes and act as a representative from start to finish in multidisciplinary projects for our partners worldwide.
You are passionate about circuit design, prototyping and have several years of experience developing electronic systems, including embedded firmware development. You can keep a good overview of complex systems and are able to break them down into subsystems with associated requirements and interfaces. In this position you will develop the required competencies to create designs for hybrid printed electronic applications in both 2D and 3D printed circuits.

Main responsibilities
- Develop, realize, and test innovative electronic systems underlying groundbreaking applications in wearables, IoT and automotive
- Electrical schematic design
- Electrical circuit design
- Embedded firmware development
- Prototype testing and verification
- Develop skills in designing for Hybrid Printed Electronics technology
- Engage with expertise in ongoing multidisciplinary projects
- Day-to-day interaction with industrial partners and customers
Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in electrical engineering
- Several years (2+) of experience designing functional embedded electronic prototypes
- Comprehensive experience with PCB circuit design
- Broad experience with firmware development and verification for embedded systems
- Hands-on mentality, capable of translating vague customer requirements into practical solutions
- Self-driven, well organized and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Required PCB development tool experience: Autodesk Eagle or equivalent
- Required knowledge of programming languages: Embedded C, Python
- Great communication skills in English, both oral and written
