Electrical Engineering Technician

Main responsibilities 


  • You will build and test prototypes: Assemble, solder, and test PCBs in accordance with ESD protocols and lab safety rules.
  • You will set up and run experiments: Work extensively in our own test center (just down the road) using test equipment, hardware, and high-voltage installations (up to 24,000 volts).
  • You will do hands-on technical work: From measuring and troubleshooting to executing structured test procedures. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty – but always in a clean, professional way.
  • You will ensure safety and quality: Strictly follow ESD codes (strapped, grounded, compliant) and lab safety regulations. Safety is our top priority.

 


Requirements


  • MBO+ / HBO level (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience as an Engineering Technician.
  • Comfortable working with high voltages (200-400VAC) and as low as MV systems
  • Strong familiarity with ESD protocols and safe lab practices.
  • A practical, “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality combined with precision and discipline.
  • Please note that the location of this role is not well-communicated via public transport, so having a driving license and a private car is preferred.
