We are currently looking for a EBL2 Operator/Engineer to join the team in Delft.
As an EBL2 Operator/Engineer, you will play a key role in broadening the functionality and measurement capabilities of the EUV Beamline facility. The EBL2 setup will be relocated to a new area within the semiconductor lifetime innovation sector, presenting unique, groundbreaking, and engaging challenges in experimentation and configuration.

Main responsibilities
- You will prepare, conduct, and document the practical aspects of experiments performed on the EBL2 setup
- You will take ownership of and carry out maintenance tasks (both preventive and corrective) for the EBL2 setup as a member of the EBL2 team
- You will take charge of and implement technical enhancement initiatives for the EBL2 setup as part of the EBL2 team
- You will be able to develop towards a more specialized role in setup engineering
Requirements
You must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree, HBO or equivalent
- Experience in experimental research within an R&D or academic environment, particularly in areas such as vacuum systems, high-energy processes, nanotechnology, optics, and/or material characterization
- You are communicative with your colleagues and a good team player
- You are organized and quality-oriented, able to work independently
- A good command of English. A fluent Dutch is an advantage
- A hands-on attitude and practical mindset
It will be an advantage if:
- You can thrive in a fast-paced changing environment
- You can do small design work and ease with CAD software
- You have some experience with Python
- You have the basic knowledge of electromechanics
