As an Energy Transition Consultant, you get enthusiastic about starting new collaborations to accelerate the energy transition with innovative solutions. You have a sharp entrepreneurial view and knowledge of what is going on in the market. Furthermore, you know how to quickly translate issues into innovative ideas, use the right knowledge, and get the input of various smart professionals in the same direction in collaboration. You are not only the connector between all parties, but you also manage the joint concept development with plenty of room for your ideas, with an eye for planning and budget; this way you can make a real impact on one of the most important social issues of our time with applied research and innovation.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Coming up with innovative solutions

• Setting up collaborations with governments, industry associations, network operators, energy suppliers, project developers, and business communities among others

• Calling in the expertise of scientists from the Energy Transition Studies department of TNO

• Involving our departments at the right time for, for example, the legal or ICT aspects

• Visiting and communicating with local government, SMI companies, and companies in the construction area

Requirements:

• WO/HBO degree in Public Administration, Physics (technical), Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

• Ideally 3-15 years of experience in the Energy Transition sector (for example: as an Energy Supplier, Network Operator, or experience in a Consultancy or Engineering firm)

• Preferable previous experience working for a consultancy company or Ingenieursbureau

• Experience in writing publications, reports, and clear, structured project proposals

• Fluency in Dutch, both written and spoken

• Available to work at least 2 days in the Amsterdam office (Required)
