Consultant - AI for System & Software Engineer 

Main responsibilities 

Your role will be within the research initiative "Evolving Systems," focusing on rejuvenating outdated code bases using AI techniques. The program aims to minimize the lifetime ownership costs of products by addressing technical debt. Your tasks involve creating proof of concepts to illustrate the issue, exploring various solution scenarios, showcasing the value, limitations, and advantages of these solutions, and aiding their integration into industrial practices. 

  • You're passionate about using AI to improve system engineering and software development
  • You keep up with new AI trends and technologies to see how they might help in the future
  • You can evaluate current engineering processes and find where AI could fit in
  • You can suggest AI solutions to make system and software design, development, and operations better
  • You work with different teams to add AI technologies, making sure it fits the project goals and deadlines
  • You check how well AI is working and suggest ways to make it better
  • You give practical advice on AI to engineering teams 


Requirements 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Experience in AI, machine learning, and applying them to develop solutions
  • Experience or interest in various mechanisms like compiler technologies, domain-specific languages, and Xtext
  • Understanding parser-based techniques for static analysis is a plus
  • Solid understanding of system engineering principles and software development life cycles
  • Solid communication and teamwork skills, with experience collaborating in diverse teams
  • Fluency, both written and spoken, in English
