NAMISAT AGREEMENT FOR S[&]T
"Just before the year ended S[&]T signed an agreement with the chair of Space Systems Engineering at Delft University of Technology (TUD). This agreement formalizes the transfer of the intellectual property of SCALES from the TUD to S[&]T. SCALES is a system-level conceptual design tool for nano- and microsatellites. The foundation of SCALES was developed by the TUD. Christina Aas, a TUD alumnus and now working for S[&]T, devoted her MSc thesis to SCALES and saw the commercial potential of it. Having signed the IPR transfer agreement, S[&]T will now further develop SCALES to a robust and mature product. The commercialization of SCALES will be done by the S[&]T spin-off company NAMISAT based in Oslo, Norway.
