                BEAT 6.6.0 Release Notes


This release provides several small features and bug fixes to the toolbox.

Highlights
==========

* Added BEAT-II support for ODIN SMR L2 data.

* There is now a binary installer of BEAT for Windows 64-bit.

* The build system for Windows has been upgraded to use Visual Studio 2008.

* Updated CODA to version 2.3.

Be sure to check the CHANGES document that comes with the package to see what
changed for the interfaces that concern you.


Important Notes
===============

(1) We recommend that you uninstall the previous version of BEAT before
installing this new release. Please refer to the 'How do I uninstall BEAT?'
section in the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) document, that can be found
in the main BEAT directory after decompressing your source package of BEAT.
